I’ve been obsessed with animals my whole life. As an only child, the pets that I grew up with might as well have been my siblings! I knew that I wanted to work with animals, but didn’t want the conventional routes in veterinary medicine & animal husbandry, so I switched my college major from Pre-Vet to English. After spending nearly a decade as a touring singer-songwriter, I took off for a year & a half stint on Maui. It was there that pet sitting really took off. I came back to Louisville & took a job as a Vet Tech where I learned an incredible amount of information & gained valuable medical experience. While I loved helping animals, the clinic life was not for me. I decided to go back to finish my degree, this time in Comparative Humanities. Since my schedule opened up, I had a lot more time to do pet sitting & dog walking. I was getting so busy, that I registered the business as an LLC in August of 2018! I’m still reeling from the fact that I own a dream business. Caring for animals is what I always wanted to do & now I do it every day!

Rebecca has scaled back on pet sitting and dog walking to perform more business-related tasks and is, therefore, not accepting new clients, but she fills in whenever needed and thinks of it like a break from work!

I have spent a better part of my life living with and taking care of my own animals as well as the animals of friends and family members. I love animals of any kind. I currently live with five dogs and three cats (six of which are seniors). I’m very much a pack animal as I grew up with a pack of six dogs! I spend my free time playing board games and hanging out with my friends who I affectionately call The Wolfpack.
I’ve been pet sitting and dog walking for over 15 years. I have experience with pets that have special needs, medications, puppies, senior pets, and reptiles.

Crystal is the pet sitter and dog walker for the pets at The Residences at the Omni. She is currently only accepting new clients at The Omni.

I started this journey as a Veterinarian Assistant at 16 years old  in my hometown through a cooperative program with my high school and Stanford Veterinary Hospital. I had found my passion, animals that is, but I wasn't quite sure veterinary medicine was where I would end up in the end. I went on to study Animal Science at Western Kentucky University. During my time in Bowling Green I worked at the Bowling Green Warren County Humane Society as a Lead Kennel Attendant. I found myself and my purpose working for this organization. I was meant to do my part, to care for animals that needed someone, however short or long that may be; I found myself taking my knowledge of veterinary medicine and using it to help the animals I cared for. After I graduated from Western; I moved to Louisville to work for the Kentucky Humane Society as a Behavior Technician. Working with dogs, using positive reinforcement based dog training, has furthered my ability to care for animals to the best of my ability. Over the years, I have cared for clients, friends and families beloved pets and I'm eager to do that and more with LouPETville.

Sissy joined our furfamily as a full-time pet sitter and dog walker in September 2019. She is our midday, weeknight, and weekend sitter and walker. Sissy is the pet sitter and dog walker for the pets of the residents at Germantown Mill Lofts.

Mel is our daycare and boarding supervisor. They've converted their Germantown home into a doggie haven where dogs can roam freely, play, snuggle, and snooze. Mel's furbaby Tubesock is the assistant to the supervisor and our head consultant on purchasing and quality control.

I got my first pet, a beautiful mixed beagle, when I was 18 years old.  I had my first cat when my husband, a cat lover,  brought home a stray.  Over the years, I have had dogs, cats, a guinea pig, fish, gerbils, and love birds. I had so many hobbies related to art, but, right now, I am now retired focusing on my favorite relaxing hobby, gardening. I was a commission board member for the deaf and hard of hearing for 13 years. I am a proud mom of one biological daughter and seven adopted furry babies.

Merle is the pet sitter for our clients in the East End.

As someone who has always loved animals it’s been great fun and a very rewarding experience to become a part-time pet sitter here in the Louisville Area. Currently I don’t have any pets of my own and it’s been wonderful to be able to take care of and love on some sweet furry babies! Love all the animals but must admit to leaning Team Cat.

For many years I edited and/or produced a local pet show for Insight Communications. It gave me access to tons of info about local pet organizations and helping people be responsible pet owners. I’m always looking to help people take the best care of their furry family members and my goal as a pet sitter is to take care of clients’ pets as I would want someone to treat mine.

Amy is our on-call pet sitter, dog walker, and overnight pet sitter.

I am a dog lover and am starting to become a cat lover. I believe that having a pet brings you joy and relaxation. I own a cat named Rocco who, when I take a nap, likes to take a nap on my hip with me. I have several hobbies including knitting, crocheting, reading, playing games on iPad, and enjoying other people’s pets. I work part time tinting lenses.

Rhonda is our on-call overnight pet sitter.
